Who We Are
Victory Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale is an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church subject only to Jesus Christ, the Head of the church. We adheres to the Ultimate and Final Authority which is the Word of God, the Holy Inspired Scriptures. We are building on the only Solid Foundation, who is Jesus Christ Our Lord.
What We Believe
We believe in the authority and sufficiency of the Holy Bible consisting of sixty-six books, the Old and New Testaments. The Bible is the verbal and plenary inspired Word of God. We also believe that there is one true and living God who exists in three distinct but not separate Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Son, though existed with the Father and Holy Spirit from eternity past, was born of a virgin through the conception of the Holy Spirit. He dwelt among us and we beheld his Glory as of the only Begotten of the Father. He was crucified for us, buried and subsequently rose victoriously from the dead. He is now seated on the right hand of Father making intercession for us. The Holy Spirit is actively working among humanity through the ministry of the comforting and guidance of the believer from an indwelling positon. His also convicts both the sinner of sins.
Why We Are Here
Our purpose is to glorify God by conducting a Baptist Church in accordance with the Word of God. We promote worship of our God Jehovah of the Holy Scriptures, edify believers, teach the whole council of God, administer its ordinances and Biblical discipline. We seek to win the lost to Christ through personal witnessing and the preaching of the Gospel. We vigorously defend the faith and seek to maintain a good testimony for Christ in our community by righteous and godly lifestyles.
